Please make sure you have a working control unit installed in the vehicle prior to ordering this remote control. Programming instructions are included in the package and will require accessing your valet/programming switch. Video instructions will be available on our YouTube page under remote controls.
PROGRAMMING
INSTRUCTIONS:
Use the following learn routine to add transmitters to your system or to
change button assignments if desired.
The learn routine may be locked if previously programmed using the Bitwriter. If the horn generates one long
honk when attempting to program the unit, the learn routine is locked and must be unlocked using the Bitwriter™
before proceeding. Find a local Viper dealer.
The Valet/Program switch, plugged into the blue port, is used for programming. There is a basic sequence of steps
to remember whenever programming this unit: Key, Choose, Transmit and Release.
1.
Key
. Turn the ignition to the ON position.
2.
Choose
. Within 10 seconds, press and release the Program switch the number of times corresponding
to the desired channel listed below. Once you have selected the channel, press
the switch once more and HOLD it. The LED will flash and the horn will honk (if connected)
to confirm the selected channel. Do not release the Program switch.

*NOTE: For Auto Learn Configurations, see Transmitter Configurations section of this guide.
**NOTE: If any button from a known transmitter is programmed to Channel 12, all transmitters
will be erased from memory and will revert to the default feature settings. This is
useful in cases where the customer's transmitters are lost or stolen.
3.
Transmit
. While HOLDING the Valet/Program switch, press the button on the transmitter
that you would like to control the selected receiver channel. The unit will chirp to confirm
that the code has been successfully programmed. It is not possible to teach a transmitter
button to the system more than once.
4.
Release
. Once the code is learned, the Valet/Program switch can be released.
Learn Routine will be exited if:
■ Ignition is turned off.
■ Program switch is pressed too many times.
■ More than 15 seconds elapses between programming steps.
One long horn honk indicates that Learn Routine has been exited.

General Shipping Policies
We ship directly to buyers. We will ship only to a customer's own private shipping address. We cannot ship to freight forwarders, mail forwarders or any forwarding agent. Packages of high value require a signature upon delivery (in accordance with PayPal & Credit Card processor requirements). Please make sure you are at the ship to address to sign for the package. In order to ship your package we will need to provide the carrier with a working phone number. please send us an updated phone number with your payment details. We usually ship within 1-3 business days of receiving cleared payment. Please note that weekends & holidays are not business days. This processing time is required for all shipments, Express as well as standard.
The carrier will send the package back to us after 3 unsuccessful attempts to deliver; if this happens you will be charged additional shipping charge of double the shipping cost (the cost of shipping back and forth). You cannot choose the carrier and we cannot use the customer's account to ship an item. We cannot reroute a shipment after it has left the warehouse or add special instructions notes for the carrier. Please make sure that someone is available to sign for your package at the ship-to address if it is required. If your package was damaged during transit a claim needs to be filed with the carrier. You must keep the box and all packing material for the carrier to inspect. Please contact us if you have questions.
We can only ship to a PayPal verified address.

We have been scammed too many times to continue shipping world-wide. We will no longer offer that service.

We can only ship to the address we receive from PayPal. Therefore we cannot ship to any address you give us over the phone, email or eBay message. We will not change the shipping address after payment is made. Returns
We are committed to providing each customer with the highest standard of customer service. If there is any problem with the item please contact us through eBay. We solve all issues.
Before returning an item you must contact us through eBay to obtain a return approval (RMA number) or call us during business hours 10am - 4pm (EST) M-F. If you ship an item back to us without contacting us first, we will have to refuse the package & it will be returned to you. New items can be returned for a money refund or a replacement (it is your choice).
Returned items are reviewed by us upon receiving them and must be sent back to us in exactly the same condition as they were sent to you. All items must be in the exact same condition as we sent them and in original unopened boxes. All internal packing materials, instruction manuals and all additional items and accessories must also be included and in the original condition. Do not make any marking on the manufacturer box, and do not use it as a shipping box - put the items in an additional carton for shipping.
Manufacture defective items (or DOA) must be reported within 4 days of the date of delivery. We will replace the reported items with new ones. Shipping and handling charges are not refundable. All returned packages will be charged return shipping.
NOTE: Items that are shipped free, if returned, a refund less our original shipping cost will be given.
Refusing a delivery is not an acceptable way to return it. All returns must be pre-approved. Refused packages will be treated as an unauthorized return and will be charged 10% restocking fee + double the shipping cost (the carrier is charging us for both ways). Make sure we authorized your return.
Restocking fee of 10% for handling and processing will be charge for returning new items that meet the above policies. Any item that does not meet the above conditions is not eligible for a return.
If your package was damaged during transit a claim needs to be filed with the carrier. You must keep the box and all packing material for the carrier to inspect. If you have any questions regarding our return policy please contact us.
